This is the process of preparing your placenta into capsule form for consumption to aid in the mother’s postpartum recovery.
I work with hospitals, home births and birthing centers to provide a seamless transition. I’ll pick up the placenta and deliver the pills back to the momma as quickly as possible in hopes to insure the best recovery and transition for the family. I package your capsules using dark glass jars to protect the quality and potency.
Hormones and Your Placenta
There are many hormones found in the placenta:
Cortisone – helps to combat stress.
Hemoglobin – replenishes iron and aids in iron production.
Interferon – stimulates the immune system to help you fight off infections while you heal from the birth of your baby.
Oxytocin – the love hormone – produces feelings of happiness and elation, aids in bonding, and provides pain relief.
Prolactin/HPL – stimulates milk production.
Prostaglandins – anti-inflammatory response.
Urokinase inhibiting factor and factor XIII – reduces bleeding and aids in healing more quickly.
